hi all.
I know there's MS office, but have any of you guys used OpenOffice or LibreOffice?
I dont need most of the MS stuf.
Usually i right things in text files, but sometimes i have to open a doc, or in even more rare cases an excel file.
How does jaws work with either of these sweets ?
I know there's jart, but that's just a word processor.
can any of the spellcheckers provided with these programs be used with outlook express?
I know there's a spellcheck four OE that you can get from Major Geeks if the answer is no.
Thanks for any help.
John

well the computers for the blind place in TX puts OpenOffice on the computers that they give away.
my guess is that the OpenOffice suite works well or they wouldn't put it on puters given to blind people.
think i may have found my answer, though haven't tried it myself.
Just thought i'd pass along for anyone else that may be interested .
